I have half an hour to kill before I leave for my manic weekend to begin so I thought I’d blog about what I’m getting up to. Today I’m heading to the O2 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park. I think I’ve told everyone I know about a billion times because I’m so excited about seeing The White Stripes. Like Radiohead ages ago I watched them play Glastonbury on TV and was in awe, just utterly mesmerised by Jack White’s stagemanship and genius. So yeah we get a call from Sam Isaac who was on the show a few weeks ago and he lets us know that he’s playing and can guestlist us, which is fantastic.
Then on Friday I’ll be getting some sushi with Bob, Inn and possibly others and going to Trafalgar for the Muse Sing Along. I’m really suprised that it’s going ahead. Last time Kev and I were involved Paris was a joke, she had nothing organised and left it to us to organise. But someone called Jordan stepped in and managed to pull it off. Now it’s got more direction it sounds like it’ll be a fun event. Even if it’s not my cup of tea. After that I’ll be meeting with the usual lot and we’ll be headed to Kazzie’s house for a massive BBQ. BBQ number 20!
Then comes Muse. Saturday and Sunday is all about seeing Muse play Wembley Stadium, the biggest gigs of their lives and probably 2 of the best gigs we’ll all go to in our lives. It’ll be grand as hell. I can’t wait.
I’ll leave it short and sweet and hopefully, along with other people’s pictures, I’ll do a Bob/Inn style blog about it all.
