1. Stockholm Day 2 25Oct07

    We woke up ridiculously early and by 4:00am we left for the airport. Kazzie cranked up the Pendulum and we sped our way to Stanstead, making it there in no time at all. The roads were so clear and dark…reminded me of all the driving trips to Scotland we used to make as a family back when I was a kid. At stanstead we changed up our money, did a bit of waiting and I enjoyed what I knew would be my last cup of good english tea and then boarded the flight which was packed. I was sat next to Kazzie who decided that being an aviation nut herself wasn’t good enough and that she’d share a full commentary of everything going on the whole trip. So I slept. […]

  2. Stockholm Day 1 

    I reluctantly woke up at about 8:30, I had forgotten how awesome it was at home when it was cold. I do miss Sutton when it’s autumn. Begrudgingly I made my way downstairs and gave my mum her Birthday presents which Andrew and I bought the day before. They were only simple things from Thorntons but she’s notoriously hard to buy for and so we gave her the cash to get a bag we knew she wanted so that was good for us all. After that we went to the high street and had a really lovely breakfast…was nice just sitting there and talking with her and my brother. Was a picture of what life would be like when they leave my dad. Afterwards we went shopping and I bought some jeans as I only packed 1 pair by mistake and I also got a man bag to replace my chunky back pack. […]
