After what’s been two excrutiatingly long weeks I finally revealed what the codes on the Muse board were all about. For those out of the loop the codes were part of a small scale guerilla marketing campaign to build up a bit of buzz for the Muser Big Brother. Yup, for two weeks we’ll be throwing in a few members into a private area on the messageboard and watching the chaos unfold. Keeping something like that from everyone for that long was extremely hard since the only person I was bound to secrecy from was myself.
Hopefully it should be a good few weeks and should create a lot of talking points for the board.
Also, on a completely unrelated note…is it coincidence that I use the word anal 3 times in a post and suddenly start recieving comments? You naughty lot! Heh I kid, comments rock so keep them coming :D

While checking out DigitalSpy.co.uk this morning I stumbled across this article…
“A modern-day remake of hit ’80s film The Breakfast Club, titled Bumped, is to be made. The comedy drama focuses on five twenty-somethings who become stranded at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport when their flight is bumped.Bridget Johnson will produce the film with first-timer Anna Mastra directing. Lizzy Weiss (Blue Crush) wrote the script.
Bumped will be financed independently and sold to a studio later.
John Hughes’s The Breakfast Club made a significant cultural impact - pushing Simple Minds’ theme song ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ to number one in the US charts - and was voted the best high school movie of all time by Entertainment Weekly.
The original film starred Brat Packers Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and Molly Ringwald.”
Terrible.

I think I’ve discovered the most anal website ever. No not that kind of anal you filthy bunch, I’m talking about the Monica Gellar from Friends branch of anal, the kind that prompts the use of a calculator at a restaurant or collateral for borrowing a pen at work. Foamee is designed for the kind of people you cross the road to avoid. Self described as, “…a free service that helps track who you owe beers or coffee to (and vice-versa) using the popular messaging service, Twitter.” Foamee along with it’s devil partner in crime Twitter are beginning the slow consumption of your private life.
I myself am an absolute slave to Twitter with friends who are just as excruciatingly bored as me, but somehow have twice as interesting lives because they aren’t mine, updating through Twitter’s SMS service. I now know exactly where they are and what they are doing throughout the day. I feel like Davina sodding McCall, watching all the time, reporting on lives I see maybe once a week at best. Now comes Foamee…a charming little site that boasts the ingenius idea that you can keep a record of drinks you owe people when you are out. Maybe I’m frivellous in not really caring if I’m owed a drink because inevitably I’ll be given a drink by them or someone else which will cancel it out, it’s all a bit My Name is Earl I know but still, I don’t quite see the point.
I don’t really have much of a point to this entry, I think it was more my eagerness to blog about an anal website and get off with the clean conscience.
