So it seems on the 28th February Stage 6 will close it’s doors, denying the distribution of high quality videos due to the cost of running the site. Stage6 is without a doubt the best video sharing site that has come along in the last few years and unlike most it had a real chance with competing against the Google backed giant that is YouTube. Not only did it utilize divx, making a change from the standard flv format, to enable better quality of videos but it also was host to community that has grown extremely loyal. In fact, in writing this 47 minutes after the initial blog post was made there are already 100 comments mourning the loss of what is one of the internet’s biggest losses. As dramatic as this is, it’s a sad day as YouTube’s grip on video sharing grows even tighter.

Muse Trailer! 20Feb08
I got bored and decided to actually use the clips I’d downloaded from www.he-3.mu and thus this naff trailer emerged which essentially recycles the old clips. Boredom seems to be the theme for the last week or so. Thanks to my body hating health I’ve been bed ridden quite a lot and thus I’ve procrastinated from work by building websites and messing around with whatever I can get my hands on. Thus ‘One Night in Karis’ was born, a site for a comic strip Inn and I concieved when realising Kazzie’s real name was such a great pun of Paris. I’m thinking of keeping it up as I really like the idea of having a low maintainance comic strip, I just need to find a decent story since using pics of friends and myself will prove troublesome since not everyone approves (I hardly blame them haha). Maybe could base it on celebretards since I’ve been a gossip mong as of late.
Brits tonight, I’m well excited although I might miss them due to a party, I’ll just have to catch a repeat. Hopefully Kate Nash won’t win a thing.

apod 16Feb08

For those who don’t know APOD (Astronomy Picture Of the Day) is exactly what it says on the tin, each day for the last 13 years NASA has posted a new picture of the cosmos, fantastic way to waste a day. Anyway, in browsing through the last couple of week’s pictures I came across Sunspot in the Old Solar Cycle noting a new magentic cycle occuring on our Sun. I’m not going to kid you by pretending I have a clue as to what exactly it means, but what did catch my eye in the picture was the close up in the picture above. Either Fawkes or Jean Grey was just papped.
